I am in Spain!!!

I just wanted to post an entry to let you all know that I am here, safe and sound!

I am absolutely loving it here! Everything is so beautiful! I am loving this city.. and I´m starting to get familiar with the streets.. and I love that too. We went on a walking tour the other day, and visited about 3 or 4 places that I have already been once before. That was cool. I never would have thought 4 years ago that the places I was visiting would be places that I now consider my ¨neighborhood¨.

I spent the day at the beach today.. which is a new concept. Something that I could never do back home! It totally blew my mind. In a good way!

Well, I just wanted to make this quick! I´ll write more later!

Less than 2 weeks?
Unbelievable!

Tomorrow is my last day of work! I am so excited, but I can't believe how quickly it has come. And, by the looks of things, the next 11 days will come and go even faster.

I checked the USPS website, and I'm pretty sure that it will only cost you $0.90 to send me a postcard. That seems like a worthwhile investment! :) And, I promise to return the favor by sending you a postcard as well!

It's August!

Oh my goodness!
It is August already!
So hard to believe!

The good thing is, it feels like things are finally starting to move in that direction. Loans are taken care of. Credit transfers are taken care of. Summer classes are done. I am in the process of getting things together, making lists, and most importantly making progress. But it still feels so unreal!

I am pretty sure that this will never feel real. In a good way.

For someone who has always been a little resistant to change, this move is quite a gutsy decision. But I am so excited! I know that I will miss so much about home, about Geneva, and about America general. But I am not focusing on that! I am just thinking about all of the new experiences I'll encounter and the memories that will be made! I am so excited for the things that I'll learn for the opportunity to do something different.

I am pretty much some crazy mixture of nerves and excitement right now.

Hello, friends!

By now I am sure you're aware that I will be leaving for Spain on August 28, for my semester in Sevilla!

I just wanted to make this blog so that I could keep in touch with everyone and let you all know how things are going! I'll fill you in with what's happening with me, and hopefully, if I can find a way, I'll be able to post a few pictures for you all to see.

I will also give you an actual address where you can send me real mail! Because let's face it.. that's always better anyway!

I guess this is all for now! There's not much to say.... yet! I am still in the process of getting everything I need together and trying to prepare myself! I am getting very excited and nervous, and I can't believe that I will be leaving so soon!
